Abstract 
本研究では, 肥満ラットに17週齢から2週間の自発走運動(EX-2w群)と, 15週齢から4週間に渡る2日に1回程度の自発走運動(EX-4w群)を行わせたところ, EX-2w群よりもEX-4w群で脂肪細胞サイズが小型化し, 血中アディポネクチン濃度は有意に高値であったことから, 短い期間で急速に体重を減少させる運動よりも, 長い期間でゆっくりと体重を減少させる運動の方が脂肪細胞サイズを小型化し, 血中アディポネクチン濃度を高値に維持できる可能性が示唆された.
