| Abstract |
本研究は, 「グロテスク様式」がフランス16世紀前半の文学において果たした役割を, 架空譚の読解を通して明らかにするものである。研究代表者は, フランソワ一世の文化政策をはじめとした政治的動向が, 同時代の宗教事情と絡み合って, どのように文芸作品に反映されているかを検討した。その結果を踏まえて, グロテスク様式に特徴的な怪物等の異形のものを, 造形芸術と文学双方の理論に基づいて比較を行った。
This research examines the role of the grotesque style in the "fabulous narrations" in the first half of the 16th century France. We analyzed the manner in which literature reflected contemporary cultural policy adopted by Francois I and unstable religious situation. Furthermore, we compared the monsters, particular to the grotesque style, and to the "fabulous narrations", in terms of their structure and theory.
