文化芸術活動の質を二つの変数で表し, 一般消費者, 文化芸術団体, 援助機関がそれを評価する, という形での定式化を試みる。文化芸術活動を行う主体および援助を行う主体の, 援助を巡る行動について文化芸術活動の質を考慮に入れた上で, 理論的な考察を行う。まず利潤非負制約にしたがう文化芸術団体が補助金の額に依存してどのように質を選択するかを考察する。つぎに文化芸術団体が選択した質を所与として, 援助機関がどのように補助額を決定するかを考察する。そして文化芸術団体と援助機関との間での, 文化芸術活動の質と補助額に関する合意形成のための交渉過程を定式化し, 質と補助額の均衡が安定となる条件を考察する。
We discuss behavior in cultural-artistic organizations performing artistic activities, and that of supporting institutions which financially support them. Evaluating artistic activities is difficult. Profit does not necessarily reflect artistic quality. Since some artistic activities cannot be performed without some financial support, quality appraisals are quite important to determine the level of financial sponsorship possible. We suppose that qualities can be expressed by two parameters, and thus show that the behavior of cultural-artistic organizations depends on financial support. Moreover, the behavior of supporting institutions will depend on the expected behavior of cultural-artistic organizations. Optimal qualities sought by supporting institutions are not necessarily generated by cultural-artistic organizations. Thus, we consider a bargaining process between the two sides to find a balance.
