奈良の天理大学附属図書館が所蔵する黄庭堅『豫章黄先生文集』の調査を中心におこなった。黄庭堅は北宋の人, 号は山谷。
『豫章黄先生文集』は文体別に編纂されたもので, 全三十巻の巻二から巻十二に詩を収録する。この詩に注をつけたものが黄庭堅の晩年の弟子である任淵で, 南宋になって『山谷詩集注』が刊行された。任淵の『山谷詩集注』は制作年により配列されている。『山谷詩集注』のもっとも古い版本は米沢市立図書館が所蔵するもので, デジタルライブラリーで画像が公開されている。
いま米沢本を底本として詩の訳注を作成しつつあり, 今回, 天理本が調査できたので校勘をし, さらに黄庭堅の詩集や年譜について研究の流れを整理, 考察した。
『豫章黄先生文集』の南宋本が三種現存しており, 天理本のほかに『四部叢刊』所収本, 内閣文庫所蔵本がある。一連の調査・考察の結果, 天理本がもっとも早く成立し, 『四部叢刊』所収本は天理本と同一系統であり, 内閣文庫所蔵本はこの二種とは異なる分類配列で, 任淵はもっとも遅い成立の内閣文庫所蔵本の系統を底本として注をつけ, 配列を制作順に改めた, という結論に達した。
任淵は黄庭堅の手跋や, 黄庭堅の子孫が所蔵していた資料も使って, 制作の背景や制作年を考察した。任淵の『山谷詩集注』が出版されたことにより, 『豫章黄先生文集』には収録されなかった詩を集めて『外集』『別集』が生まれ, さらにそれらに注をつけたものも出版された。また黄庭堅の孫による『年譜』も出版され, さらにはテーマにより分類した『類編増広黄先生大全文集』も出た。『類編増広黄先生大全文集』の底本は『四部叢刊』所収本である。
以上はすべて南宋時代の山谷詩研究の成果である。今回, 天理本を調査したことにより, こうした南宋時代の研究の流れが整理できた。
I researched in the anthology "Yuzhang Huang Xiansheng Wenji 豫章黄先生文集", the complete works of Huang Tingjian 黄庭堅 , the collection of Tenri 天理 University library in Nara. Then studied the relation between this edition and other three editions including the annotated edition of Hunag Tingjian's poem by Ren Yuan 任淵, all these editions were published in the Southern Song period.
Based on analysis, I conclusively stated "Yuzhang Huang Xiansheng Wenji" owned by Tenri University library is the oldest edition which exists, and Ren Yuan used another edition owned by Naikaku Bunko 内閣文庫 when he wrote an annotated edition of Shangu's anthology of poems "Shangu Shiji Zhu 山谷詩集注". Shangu 山谷 is a Huang Tingjian's go 号 (byname).
After Ren Yuan's work, other books of verse and chronological history of the poet were published, too.
Through the investigation of Tenri edition, I cleared up the process of the study about Huang Tingjian in the Southern Song period.
