本研究は, 2005年前後から続いており, 中国非三自会系教会, 非愛国会系教会が持つ自律的アソシエーションとしての可能性と, その他キリスト教系アソシエーションの発展が中国市民社会の成長に対して果たしうる役割や, 国家ー社会関係変容の可能性を, 主要な関心事としている。本年度からは, その総括としての単著執筆と, 執筆過程で必要が生じた補足的調査の実施が, 主な作業内容になる。単著は, おおむね「序章 : 問題提起」「第一章 : 文明史的視座から見たキリスト教」「第二章 : 公共宗教論と公共神学」「第三章 : 中国キリスト教の近現代史」「第四章 : 非三自会系教会と非愛国会系教会」「第五章 : 中国のキリスト教系アソシエーション」「第六章 : 結論」という内容になる予定である。執筆は2017年夏から始まり, 現時点で序章から第三章まで, 執筆が進んでいる。なお, 現時点で字数は, 約25万字に達している。序章では, 中国共産党にとってキリスト教はなぜセンシティヴな問題となるのか, その可能性とは何か, といった問題を提起した。第一章では, 近代化が単純な合理化, 脱魔術化の歴史とはならず, 宗教が意味を持ち続ける文明史的背景を概観した。第二章では, J.ハーバーマスやH.アレント等の議論も引きつつ, 市民的公共性について再考し, それとの関係で既存の公共宗教論, 公共神学を概観するとともに, 筆者自身の見解もしめした。第三章では, アヘン戦争前夜から現在に至る中国キリスト教の歴史を, 神学的変容や政府との関係に注目しつつ振り返った。11月には, 上海のキリスト教系公益団体や復旦大学を訪問, 執筆過程で必要の生じた補助的調査を行った。また, 2018年2月には複数大学の教員から成る某研究プロジェクト会合において研究の現状報告を行う予定であったが, 1月末に研究代表者の父が急逝したため, 見送りとなっている。
This research project, which has continued from 2005 up to now, is mainly interested in non-TSPM protestant church and non-CPA catholic church's potentiality as autonomic associations and the roles of christian associations in the development of Chinese civil society. In a few years from now on, I will write a book as a recapitulation of my investigation in the past 13 years, while make supplemental fieldwork as necessary. The book consists of "Prologue : Research Questions", "Chapter 1 : Christianity in the history of civilization", "Chapter 2 : Public Religions and Public Theology", "Chapter 3 : The Modern History of Chinese Christianity", "Chapter 4 : non-TSPM Protestant Church and non-CPA Catholic Church","Chapter 5 : Christian Associations in China" and "Chapter 6 : Conclusion". I started to write the book in the last summer, and have written Prologue, Chapter 1, 2, and 3, which consists of about 250 thousands Japanese characters. In Prologue, I have mainly introduced two questions : 1. Why are the issues on Chinese christianity so sensitive for CCP ? ; 2. What is the most important potentiality of Chinese christianity ? In Chapter 2, referring J. Habermas, H. Arendt and so on, I have reviewed the arguments on public religions and public theology. In Chapter 3, I have described the history of Chinese christianity from 1800 up to now.
In the last November, I visited Fudan university and a christian association in Shanghai as a supplemental fieldwork. But canceled the scheduled presentation on this work at Shiga in the last February because of the funeral service for my father.
