| Abstract |
この10年間, 我々もその扇動者の一役を担い, 胆汁酸に関する研究は飛躍的な発展をなしえた。現在では胆汁酸はGタンパク質結合レセプターや核内受容体のリガンドになり, 生体内シグナル分子として生体恒常性に深く関与していることが示唆されている。我々はこれらの経路を明らかにし, その研究成果は脂肪肝, 高脂血症, 糖尿病, 動脈硬化の全く新しい治療ターゲットとなり, 1つの糖尿病薬としての認可, そしていくつかの薬剤開発へと進展している。
