近年特に心のケアが重要視されはじめている。リエゾン精神看護専門看護師はより専門的な知識と技術をもって介入しているが、全国でわずか39名しかいない。そこで有効活用するための手段として、インターネットテレビ会議を利用した相談システムを試験的に構築した。そして本システムの拡大が実現可能なのかを検討するために、全国調査を行った。結果、①遠隔相談に対するニーズは非常に高い、②イントラネットが普及している、③セキュリティーに対する危惧が高い、④物理的環境が十分ではない、といった現状が明らかとなった。  Mental care has been regarded as important for decades. Liaison psychiatric clinical nurse specialists intervenes in mental problems of patients and nurses with extensive professional knowledge and skills, but there are only 39 liaison psychiatric clinical nurse specialists in Japan. We constructed a trial remote consultation system for hospitals using the Internet. We investigated the feasibility of expanding the consultation system all over the country. Four important points became clear: (1)there is a great demand for the remote consultation system, (2)Intranet systems are already commonly used in hospitals, (3)many users feel uneasy about Internet security, and (4)most hospitals lack the structural conditions necessary for the remote consultation system.
