| Abstract |
政治理論研究者フィシュキンらが提唱する「討論型世論調査」に、サンスティン、アッカーマン、レッシグらといった著名な公法理論研究者が、現在、大変注目している。本稿では、それぞれ独自の発展を遂げていたかに見えた公法理論としての討議民主主義と政治理論としての討議民主主義との接点となった、この討論型世論調査の概要やこれまでの実験における結果等を説明したうえで分析し、参加性、討議性、関心の強度、専門性及び代表性という5つの指標をもとに、合意形成のための制度としてのその有用性を検討した。 Deliberative Opinion Poll produced by James Fishkin, political scientist, now attracts well-known constitutional scholars' notices such as Cass Sunstein, Bruce Ackerman, Lawrence Lessig and so on. This particular opinion poll is the contact point between the political theories of deliberative democracy and legal ones that seem to set off on their own paths. This paper introduces a schema and previous practices of the deliberative opinion poll and consists on the significance of it as the institution for consensus-building from the aspects of participation, deliberation, strength of interest, expertise and representativeness.
