| Abstract |
GIS関連文献の調査およびアンケート調査を実施し, 経済学におけるGIS活用の現状と課題を明らかにした。GISの機能および社会経済系空間データを調査し, 経済・政策分析におけるGISと空間データの活用法を開発した。日本経済学会, 応用地域学会で経済分析におけるGIS活用法のチュートリアルセッションを開催した。経済・政策分析におけるGIS活用法の入門書を出版した。GISと空間データを活用して, 保育所整備と女性就業, 震災復興など, 現実の政策課題の分析を行った。
The status and issues involved in the use of geographic information systems and science (GIS) in economics are characterized by investigating GIS-related literature and conducting questionnaire surveys. I investigated GIS functions and socioeconomic spatial data and developed the methods of the use of GIS and spatial data in economic and policy analysis. Tutorial sessions about the use of GIS in economic analysis are held at the Japanese Economic Association Annual Meeting and the Annual Conference of Applied Regional Science Conference. An introductory book about the use of GIS in economic and policy analysis is published. Analyses of policy issues, such as the development of childcare centers and female employment and earthquake disaster reconstruction, are conducted using GIS and spatial data.
