Abstract |
Gamma-ray spectrometers enable one to detect insensible radiation quantitatively. People unfamiliar to science, however, find it difficult to read results through data of the detectors often. This situation results in their indifference to radiation, though it is of great importance these days. We developed perceptible detectors of gamma-ray spectrometers, in which data of radiation are represented by glittering lights, beautiful tones, Morse code and whack-a-mole games. We held exhibition of the detector in SCIENCE AGORA 2013, and supplied opportunities for nonprofessional people to understand existence of the environmental radiation.
