| Abstract |
ALCO（アルコ）は、幼児期の子供を持つ家庭において、父親と子供が日々のできごとを会話を通じて共有することを支援するダイニング用テレビである。日々の子供の写真を表示し、それを見るときの家族の会話の状態に応じて写真の見せ方を変化させる。本論文では、父親と子供のコミュニケーションを支援するALCOのシステムについて述べる。幼児期の小さな子供を持つ家庭において、仕事で帰宅が遅いために子供と会話をする時間が少ない父親は、子供とのコミュニケーションが上手くいかない場合がある。そこでALCOは、夕食時にダイニングルームで子供の日常の写真を表示し、写真について父親と子供がコミュニケーションを取る場面に楽しさを加えることで、父親が子供と楽しく会話をしながら、子供についての理解を深められる経験を提供する。写真を表示することで父親と子供に共通の話題を与え、そのときの会話状態に応じたインタラクションを提供することで、会話を促進させる。本論文では、ALCOのシステムの設計について言及する。また、家庭で行ったコンセプトの検証から、ALCO有効性について考察する。
