| Abstract |
・2016年に当学が開発した、髄鞘を可視化する新規MRI撮像法「ミエリンマップ法」の実施に必要なシーケンスを、国際共同研究相手である、ブラジルPUCRSの臨床用MRI機に実装した。
・双方の倫理審査を経て、双方の国において、多発性硬化症などの中枢神経系脱髄疾患患者の「ミエリンマップ法」による観察研究を開始した。
・2019年8月には研究代表者がブラジルPUCRSを訪れ、先方研究代表者であるDouglas K. Sato教授と打ち合わせを行った。
・2019年9月には小児多発性硬化症の「ミエリンマップ法」データ解析結果を、欧州多発性硬化症治療研究会議において共同発表した。
・2020年8月に研究代表者がブラジルPUCRSを訪問する予定であったが、COVID１９のため中止となり、代替案として月１回程度のWebミーティングを開催することとなった。
・2020年10月にWeb上で開催された"MS Virtual 2020"において研究成果を発表した。
・ブラジルPUCRSとの共同執筆の論文が投稿準備中である。
-The novel myelin-specific MRI sequence to obtain "Myelin Map", which was developed at Keio University in 2016, has been successfully installed in MRI machines at PUCRS in Brazil.
-After approval of ethic committee at both institutes, collaborative studies for "Myelin Map" on demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis began.
-In August 2019, the research project leader has visited PUCRS in Brazil to discuss about the research project.
-In September 2019, the first result of the collaborative research on "Myelin Map" for pediatric multiple sclerosis cases has been presented and published at European Committee for Treatment and Research on Multiple Sclerosis.
-A planned visit to PUCRS in Brazil by the research project leader has been cancelled due to COVID19 pandemic situation, and monthly web meeting was set in place as an alternative.
-Research result was presented at "MS Virtual 2020" meeting on web.
-A collaborative research paper with PUCRS in Brazil is under preparation for submission.
