| Abstract |
本研究は, 宗門改帳を史料とし, ここからデータベースを構築し, 徳川後期の農民世帯の家族構造を明らかにすることが目的である。本研究で用いる史料は, 東北日本2地域(会津山間部4か村・二本松平野部3か村)と中央日本2地域(美濃平野部6か村・信州山間部2か村)である。結果的には, 当初予定していたデータベースの完成には至らなかった。データベースの完成にはまだ時間を要するが, 完成度の高い東北日本の一農村のデータを用いて, 徳川後期農民社会の家族構造を解明するための基本的指標の分析を試みた。
This study has two aims. The first is to build a large database using the Shumon Aratame Cho (SAC) (sect registries) as a historical reference. The second is to use this database to examine the structure of farm households in the late Tokugawa period.
For this study, I used the sect registries of fifteen villages (seven in northeast Japan and eight in central Japan). Ultimately, I was unable to complete the database. Therefore, I attempted to examine basic indicators for determining family structure by using the data of a single farming community in northeastern Japan, as it had the most complete database.
