本研究課題では, (1) 住宅価格の変動が家計の消費および世帯形成に及ぼす影響, (2) 住宅所有が家計の労働移動に及ぼす影響, の2点について, 計量経済学的な検証を行った。(1)の研究課題については, 複数のデータセットを活用した住宅資産効果の計測, および住宅資産効果の背後にある行動経済学的なメカニズムの検証を試みた。(2)の研究課題については, 集計データと個票データの双方を活用して, 家計の住宅所有と労働移動の関係を検討した。これらの研究成果については, 国内外の学会・研究会での発表を行うとともに, 計4編の研究論文として学術誌および書籍の形で公表している。
This research project aims at investigating (1) the housing wealth effects on consumption and household formation, and (2) the relationship between homeownership and labor mobility. Regarding the first topic, homeowners' consumption responses to housing wealth shocks are measured using various sources of data, for which behavioral economic interpretations are provided. Regarding the second topic, the relationship between homeownership and labor mobility is examined using both aggregate and individual-level longitudinal data. These research outcomes are presented at various conferences, and are published as journal articles and chapters in academic books.
