Abstract 
クラスリン依存性エンドサイトーシス・シグナル配列検索系を新規に構築した。この系を用いて小胞GABAトランスポーターVGATのエンドサイトーシス・シグナル配列の探索を行い, N末端領域内のPhe-44を中心とする新しいタイプのシグナル配列を見出した。VGATはこのシグナル配列を介してAP2と結合し, クラスリン依存性エンドサイトーシスによってシナプス小胞に局在することを明らかにした。
A novel assay was devised to search a signal sequence of the clathrin-mediated endocytosis. We found a novel endocytic signal sequence within the N-terminal region of the vesicular GABA transporter VGAT. VGAT is targeted to synaptic vesicles via the clathrin-mediated endocytosis pathway in which this signal sequence is involved.
