本研究は, 異なるアクセシビリティの店舗や地域の利用者が混在する場合に対して, 施設配置モデルと買い物行動のモデルを検討した。通信販売による小売と実店舗の小売が混在する場合, 電車利用者と自動車利用者の混在する場合などにおける, 買い物行動の数理的モデル化をするとともに, モデルを用いることにより最適配置について検討し, アクセシビリティの変化による施設配置の変化について分析をし新たな知見をえた。数理モデル上の研究と実態調査に基づく買い物行動のメカニズムの解明の2つのアプローチで成果を上げた。
This research project studied the facilities' location and user's facilities' choice model in the environment that facilities have different accessibility and user's have different accessibility. For example, the location of retail shops competing with increasing mail-order retailing was studied. Shopping behaviors of different modes such as car, train, bicycle, or walk as well as mail-order shopping were studied. Through the modeling of shopping behavior, location of facilities are investigated and the changes of locations by the change of accessibility were analyzed. Through the survey and the modeling of shopping behavior observed in actual cities, the characters and mechanism of shopping behavior were analyzed.
