本研究の最終目標は、近世都市の人口と家族を歴史人口学の手法を用いて解明することである。飛騨高山には残存期間が99年に及ぶ宗門人別改帳が残存する。本研究期間はデジタル化された飛騨高山弐之町村の宗門人別改帳から基礎シート（BDS）を作成し、この史料の特徴を整理した。また安永2（1773）年から寛政12（1800）年までのBDSをデータベース化し、人口と家族(世帯)について観察した。この期間の人口は男性の方が多いものの較差は小さい。ここには、女性を必要とする社会構造が存在した可能性がある。世帯数は700前後を推移しているが、家持の世帯数は安定的であり借家の増減は多きい。平均世帯規模は3.7人である。
The ultimate goal of this study is to elucidate early modern urban population and families(households) using historical demographic methods. In Hida Takayama, there are Shumon-Ninbetsu-Aratame-Cho, with 99 years (1773-1871) of records remaining.
In this research period, a Basic Data Sheet (BDS) was created from the digitized Shumon-Ninbetsu-Aratame-Cho of Hida Takayama Ninomachi village, and the characteristics of this historical document were organized. We also compiled a database of BDS from 1773 to 1800 and made observations on population and families (households). The population during this period had more male, but the difference was small. It is possible that a social structure existed in Ninomachi village that required women. The number of households has remained around 700, but the number of house owner households has remained stable, while the number of renter households has increased and decreased significantly. The average household size is 3.7 persons.
