Abstract 
筋萎縮性側索硬化症(ALS)に関連するTDP-43の生化学的解析を行い, アポトーシス条件下においてcaspase-3依存性に35-kDaと25-kDaの2種類の断片が切断・産生されること,  非アポトーシス条件下においてもcaspase-3に依存しない35-kDa,  25-kDaの2種類の新規アイソフォームが産生されることを見出した. また, 35-kDaタンパク発現系で認められる封入体がstress granuleとaggresomeであることを確認した.
