本研究では、知的資本蓄積を景気循環会計の枠組みに組み入れることにより、生産効率性の変動を短期的な要素と中期的な要素に分解した「Medium Term Cycle Accounting」モデルを定式化した。具体的には、生産・消費・投資・労働・そして中期的なトレンドのデータを用いて、モデルから労働市場の歪み・投資市場の歪み・政府支出による歪み・短期的な生産効率性の歪み・中期的な生産効率性の歪みを推計し、それぞれがG7における金融危機後の景気停滞に与えた影響を定量的に分析した。
In this project, I have incorporated the accumulation of knowledge capital into the business cycle accounting framework in order to decompose the short-run and medium-run fluctuation components of production efficiency and constructed the Medium Term Cycle Accounting model. In specific, I used data of output, consumption, investment, labor and medium term trend to estimate distortions in the labor market, investment market, government spending, short-run production efficiency, and medium-run efficiency and quantitatively assess their impacts on the stagnation of the G7 economies after the 2009 financial crisis.
