Abstract 
現代言語学理論の主要理論の一つである最適性理論の枠組みにおいて, 聴覚的制約および調音的制約が第一および第二言語獲得/習得において果たす役割を検証するために, 第一言語獲得話者と第二言語習得者への知覚実験を行った. また, 実験結果の分析を通じて理論の精緻化を行った.それらの成果は随時, 国内外の諸学会において発表し, また各学術誌に論文発表した.それにより今後の研究への有益な助言を国内外の研究者から得ることができた.
