東国・北国の戦国大名・国衆の文学活動全般に関する史料を調査し、とくに今川義元の和漢聯句愛好について考察した。続いて大名の主催した歌会や和漢聯句の本文紹介や注釈を行った。新出の北条氏康主催の歌会本文を翻刻し、武田晴信の開催した世吉和漢聯句について、開催の背景、連衆の伝記を考察し、詳細な注釈を施した。中央から地方への学芸伝播の実態を考察した。さらに飛鳥井家・三条西家を対象に、東国に下向して活動した当主の活動と著作を跡付けた。こうした戦国大名・国衆の文芸の特色について考察し、学術論文として発表した。最後に、このことをテーマにした雑誌の特集「室町戦国の文芸と史料」を企画編集し刊行した。
I researched the materials of the literary activities of the daimyo and lords of the Togoku(東国) region. First, I considered the significance of Yoshimoto Imagawa(今川義元) 's preference for the Wakan-renku(和漢聯句). Next, I introduced and annotated these poems and Wakan renku. In particular, I made a detailed commentary on the Wakan renku held by Harunobu Takeda(武田晴信). Furthermore, I considered the actual situation of the spread of scholarship and art to the Togoku region. For the Asukai(飛鳥井家) and the SanjoNishi(三条西家), I traced the activities and writings of the owner who went down to the eastern country. Finally, I considered the characteristics of the literary arts of the Sengoku daimyo and lords, and published it as an academic paper. And I planned and published a special feature of the theme magazine "Muromachi Sengoku literary arts and historical materials(室町戦国の文芸と史料)".
