本研究は, 外来通院している大腸切除術後高齢者における自宅での生活の実態と生活機能の回復や維持に影響する要因を明らかにし, 支援のあり方を検討することを目的としている。インタビューとアンケートによる調査を実施した結果, 手術後の生活の状態に影響する要因は, 原疾患や術式の影響以外に, 個々の生活歴や価値観によって多様性がみられた。その中でも共通した要因として, 併存疾患・運動機能・運動習慣・役割・趣味・意欲・病気や加齢に対する受け止め・サポート状況などが抽出された。地域で生活する大腸切除術後高齢者に対する効果的な情報提供や相談場所の確保の必要性が示唆された。
This study aimed to elucidate the current state of lifestyles at home and factors that affect the recovery or maintenance of vital functions of post-colectomy elderly outpatients, and to determine the ideal support for these patients. Results of interview and questionnaire surveys showed that primary disease and operative methods, as well as individual lifestyle histories and personal values, were factors that affected postoperative life. Among these factors, comorbidity, motor function, exercise habit, social roles, hobbies, motivation, facing illness and aging, and support status were the most common. The results of this study suggest the importance of effective information distribution and counseling for post-colectomy community-dwelling elderly patients.
