| Abstract |
本研究課題の目的は, 国際貿易と産業集積という視点から企業の競争力, 特に生産性, マークアップ, 利益, 品質といった側面に注目し, その源泉や政策・制度変更の影響を探求することにあった。本研究課題は「国際貿易と企業の競争力」, 「産業集積と企業の競争力」, 「国際貿易と産業集積の相互依存」の3つのテーマで構成されており, その全てのテーマに関して査読付きの国際学術誌やその他の学術誌・図書への掲載, あるいは国内外で学会報告を行うことができた。さらに当初2019年に開催を予定していた国際研究集会を, 1年半前倒しで2018年2月にパリでEHESS-Keio University Workshopとして開催できた。
The purpose of our project is to investigate the cause and effect of firm competitiveness under international trade and industrial agglomeration. We focus on various aspects of firm competitiveness such as productivity, markup, profits, and product quality. Our project consists of three themes: (1) International trade and firm competitiveness, (2) Industrial agglomeration and firm competitiveness, and (3) Interdependence of international trade and industrial agglomeration. In all these themes, we have published our papers in refereed journals and books, and presented our studies at academic conferences. Several papers are published in top field journals such as Journal of public economics and Journal of urban economics. In addition, we could hold the international workshop, EHESS-Keio workshop, in Paris in February 2018 one-and-half years earlier than we planned.
