| Abstract |
研究代表者は, 高齢白内障患者を対象として, 歩行速度と睡眠の質を術前術後に測定し, 白内障手術が運動機能向上と睡眠の改善に寄与することを多数の論文や学会で発表してきた。今回は白内障の混濁型と睡眠について英文誌に論文を掲載した。白内障手術には視力改善以外にも混濁水晶体を除去し眼底の内因性光感受性網膜神経節細胞の光受容の改善が重要である。瞳孔検査ならびに電気生理学的手法による網膜神経節細胞の評価により, 白内障患者が術後睡眠, 気分, 認知症が改善するメカニズムの解明をおこなった。また, 白内障患者に運動センサーを携帯させ, 術前後の運動量を歩数, 歩行距離, などで評価した結果, 術後増加することを示した。
We have contributed to report the effects of cataract surgery on sleep and motor function at numerous meetings and journals for six years. During last year we published one paper of cataract opacity type and sleep quality on Rejuvenation Reserch. We evaluated human intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells with electroretinogram and pupillometer. We measured excercise of cataract patients before and after surgery using motion sensor.
