| Abstract |
本稿では, 現実企業数百社の財務データを使って, 負債のエージェンシーコストの理論モデルを個別企業に当てはめる。モデルの当てはまり具合と負債のエージェンシーコストの数量的尺度の妥当性を検討する。続いて投資の必要収益率を企業毎に計算して, (加重)平均資本コストと比較する。
This paper maintains the validity of a capital structure model based on the agency costs of debt. Using financial data on hundreds of listed firms, we estimate model's parameters and calculate quantitative measures of the agency costs. From the model, the required return on investment is also computed for each firm and compared with the weighted average costs of capital (WACC).
