本論文では,アトランティック・シティとラスベガスの対比を通じて両都市におけるカシノ・リゾートの特徴を改めて確認する。ついで,これからの一連の研究ではシステム論的視点に基づいて議論を行っていくことを示す。最後に,ラスベガスのカシノ・リゾートの原型が最初のカシノ・リゾートであるエル・ランチョ・ベガスにあったことを示す。
