| Abstract |
アジア・太平洋戦争に関する歴史認識は, 主として1960年代頃からこれを教科書にどのように記述するかという点が, 議論の一つの焦点となっている。これに対し, 1955年より前の歴史認識や記述はあまりにも戦争体験と密接に関連していることから, これまで歴史記述ないし教科書記述研究の対象とされてこなかった。本稿では, 敗戦直後の1946～1955年における歴史教科書の記述傾向を見るとともに, 歴史家・教育者らが持っていた, 戦争に関する歴史認識の一端を明らかにしたい。
The representation of the Asia-Pacific War in history textbooks has been a much debated topic since approximately 1960. Prior to 1955, the war experience was a sensitive topic, which exerted an effect on the historical perspective. As this aspect has not been studied up to the present, this study discusses Japanese textbook histories written about the Asia-Pacific War. In this study, an early post-war (1946–1955) history textbook is examined to illustrate this effect on Japanese historians and educators.
