| Abstract |
本稿では, アジア・太平洋戦争期の満洲移民を, 開拓団と母村の関係に着目して検討する。対象は新潟県の山間部にあたる中魚沼郡の農村から送り出された「分郷移民」である。
新潟県の満洲移民は, 総力戦下の食糧増産と国防の政策目的のもとその多くが「北満」の入植地に送出されていった。本稿の分析からは, 食糧・物資不足のなかで食糧増産・供出要請に対応しなければならない開拓団の状況や, その過程で不安定化していく開拓団と母村の関係が明らかになった。
