Abstract |
本稿では, 臨時雇または日雇(=非常雇)である有子世帯主が, 翌月に常雇の正社員(=正規常雇)になっているかについて, ロジスティック回帰分析を行った。諸属性をコントロールしても母子世帯であることに正規常雇への転換に有意な負の影響が見出された。正規常雇化した者の9割以上が内部昇進によるものであり, 企業規模が小さいほど正規常雇化しやすい。また20歳代前半であれば正規常雇化しやすいが, 40歳を超えるとしにくい。
This study performs a logistic regression analysis to determine whether temporary or casual day (non-regular) workers who are heads of households and have children are becoming permanent full-time employees (i.e., regular employment) in the subsequent month.
Even when controlling for various attributes, it was observed that being a single mother has a relevant negative effect in conversion to regular employment.
90% or more of those who transitioned to permanent employment did so through internal promotion, and the smaller the company, the easier it was to make the transition to permanent employment.
In addition, being in one's early twenties makes becoming a regular employee easier, whereas being older than forty makes it difficult.
