本研究の中心は、マルティン・ハイデガーの前期思想（前期の主著『存在と時間』で試みられた人間存在の形式的存在論）を、形而上学的論理学の観点から解釈しなおすことにある。その際、ハイデガー存在論は歴史的に正反対の2つの極から読み直されることになる。第一は、明確にハイデガー存在論の歴史的背景をなしていると考えられるアリストテレス形而上学（とくに『自然学』や『形而上学』に見られる時間論・運動論・メレオロジー）という極である。第二の極は、基本的にはハイデガーと同じ方向を向いていると思われる現代のM・トンプソンやS・レードルによって展開されている、行為論の基礎としてのアリストテレス生命哲学のリバイバルである。2023年度の前半は、おもに第一の極の中心をなす研究として、アリストテレス形而上学における時間論と運動論の研究に費やされた。後半は、当初の予定を前倒しして、そのアリストテレス研究の成果から、ハイデガーの『存在と時間』における難読箇所として有名な「死の実存論的分析論」といわゆる「良心論」を読み直す作業がなされた。2023年度のこの研究成果は2024年12月1日に西日本哲学会（山口大学）で開催されるシンポジウム「知覚から行為へ、行為から知覚へ」にて発表される予定である。
The focus of this study is to reinterpret Martin Heidegger's earlier thought (the formal ontology of human existence attempted in his earlier main work, Being and Time) from the perspective of metaphysical logic. In doing so, Heidegger's ontology will be reread from two historically opposite poles. The first pole is Aristotelian metaphysics (especially the theory of time, kinestics, and mereology found in his Physics and Metaphysics), which is undisputedly considered to be the historical background of Heidegger's ontology. The second pole is the contemporary attempt to revive Aristotelian philosophy of life as foundations of action theory, especially the ones by M. Thompson and S. Rödl, who seem to be basically oriented in the same direction as Heidegger.
The first half of FY 2023 was devoted mainly to the study of temporality and kinetics in Aristotle's metaphysics as the core of the first pole. The second half of the year was devoted to rereading the famous difficult passages in Heidegger's Being and Time, "The Existential Analysis of Death” and the so-called“Conscience Theory,” from the results of the research of Aristotle, ahead of the original schedule. The results of this research in FY 2023 will be presented at the symposium “From Perception to Action, From Action to Perception” to be held at the West Japan Philosophical Association (Yamaguchi University) on December 1, 2024.
