本研究の最終目的は、徳川後期農民社会の世帯形成メカニズムを明らかにすることである。史料には、東北日本２地域（会津・二本松）と中央日本１地域（3か村）の宗門改帳を用いる。両地域に共通する世帯形成メカニズムを解明するとともに、それぞれの地域特性も見出したい。また、人口学的条件がどのように世帯形成に影響を与えているかの分析も試みる。
2021年度より3年計画で進めている本研究は、本年度が最終年度である。本年度は、信濃国諏訪郡横内村の宗門改帳（史料残存期間:1671(寛文11)年～1871(明治4) 年、内欠年11 年）のデータベースを作成した。具体的には、申請者が構築したデータベースの指標に基づき、エクセル上にデータベースを作成した。作業は、史料残存期間の基礎シート(BDS)の確認、整理、コンピューター入力の順番で進めた。個人情報に関するコンピューター入力は終了し、データ・クリーニングと世帯情報（世帯構成）の入力をおこなっている。
The final goal of this research is to clarify the mechanism used to establish a household in agricultural society in the l Tokugawa period. Historical records of three areas in Japan, one in Tohoku, and one in an area in Central Japan are used. This study was planned to extend over three years. The construction of a database of two villages in Central Japan was set for the first two years of this research. A database of shumon-aratame-cho (SAC) of Shinano-no-kuni, Suwa-gun, Yokouchimura was prepared this year. The order of procedures was: confirmation, organization, and computer input of basic data sheets (BDS) of preserved historical records. Computer input of personal information has been completed, and data cleaning and the input of household information (household structure) remain future tasks.
