本研究の最終目的は、徳川後期農民社会の世帯形成メカニズムを明らかにすることである。史料には、東北日本２地域（会津・二本松）と中央日本１地域（３か村）の宗門改帳を用いる。両地域に共通する世帯形成メカニズムを解明するとともに、それぞれの地域特性も明らかにする。また、人口学的条件がどのように世帯形成に影響を与えているかの分析も試みる。
本研究は３年計画の予定である。研究２年目の本年度は、信濃国諏訪郡横内村の宗門改帳のデータベースを作成した。具体的には、申請者が構築したデータベースの指標に基づき、エクセル上にデータベースを作成した。作業は、史料残存期間（1671 年～1871 年：内欠年11年分）の基礎シート(BDS)の確認、整理、コンピューター入力の順番で進めた。入力作業は遅延しており、本年度中のデータベース完成は難しく来年度も作業を継続することになる。
また、昨年度個人情報の入力を終了している信濃国筑摩郡北内田村（1675 年～1868 年：内欠年28年分）のデータベースのクリーニング、および世帯情報の入力をおこなった。さらに、信濃国筑摩郡南熊井村（1671年～1871年：内欠年35年分）のデータベースを用いて、17世紀の世帯構成の分析をおこなった。
The final purpose of this study is to clarify the mechanism of household formation in the late Tokugawa peasant society. For historical materials, we use Shumon Aratame-cho (SAC）from two regions in northeastern Japan (Aizu and Nihommatsu) and one region in central Japan (three villages). We would like to clarify the mechanism of household formation common to both regions, as well as identify the regional characteristics of each region. We will also attempt to analyze how demographic conditions affect household formation.
This study is planned to be a three-year project. In the second year of the study, a database of Shumon Aratame-cho(SAC) was created in Yokouchi Village, Suwa County, Shinano Province. Specifically, a database was created on Excel based on the index of the database constructed by the applicant. The work proceeded in the order of checking, organizing, and computer input the basic data sheet (BDS) for the period of remaining historical material (from 1671 to 1871: 11 years of internal deletion). The input work has been delayed, and it will be difficult to complete the database this fiscal year, and work will continue next fiscal year.
We also cleaned the database and entered household information for Kitauchida Village, Chikuma County, Shinano Province (from 1675 to 1868: 28 years of internal deletion), where we had finished entering personal information last fiscal year. We also analyzed household structure in the 17 th century using the database for Minami-Kumai Village, Chikuma County, Shinano Province (from 1671 to 1871: 35 years of internal deletion).
