1.岡山県真備町を視察し、岡山市長をはじめとするステークホルダーとの対話を行いました。また、地元市民やNGO（非政府組織）との議論も行われました。
2.生態系ベースの回復が強調された真備洪水災害からの1年後の教訓に関する文書が公開された。この文書は、政策ノートとして岡山市長に提出されました。
3.インドで現地視察を実施し、特に水問題に焦点を当てた、都市環境における生態系ベースの適応の役割に関する基調講演を行いました（2019年11月）。
4.インド訪問、現地調査、カウンターパートとの議論に基づいて、生態系ベースの適応に関するスプリンガーによって2021年に出版される本の提案が作成されました。
5.ベルモントフォーラムによる資金提供のために、より大きな提案が作成されましたが、その提案は最初のスクリーニングに合格しましたが、最終的な承認を得ることができませんでした。
6.現在の調査結果に基づいて別の提案が作成され、APNからの資金提供の承認を得るために提出されました。結果は4月末に明らかになるでしょう。
7. COVID-19の大流行により、2回の現地訪問は延期されました。このように、調査結果をより広く流通させるためにいくつかの論文を準備するために、地雷除去資金が使用されました。
During the project period, following activities were conducted:

1. Field visit was conducted in Mabi in Okayama prefecture, and dialogue with stakeholders including Mayor of Okayama city. Discussion was also held with local citizens and NGOs (Non-government organizations).
2. A document was published on lessons after one year from Mabi flood disasters, where the ecosystem-based recovery was highlighted. This document was presented to the Mayor of Okayama prefecture as a policy note.
3. Conducted field visit in India and delivered a key-note lecture on role of Ecosystem based adaptation in urban environment with specific focus on water issues (November 2019).
4. Based on the Indian visit, field survey and discussion with counterpart, a book proposal was prepared to be published in 2021 by Springer on eco-system-based adaptation.
5. Although a larger proposal was developed for funding by Belmont forum, the proposal passed the first screening, but failed to get final approval.
6. Another proposal was developed based on the findings of the current research and submitted for approval of funding from APN. The results would be known in end of April.
7. Two field visits were postponed due to current COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the remining fund was used to prepare some papers for wider circulation of research results.
