看護医療学部の教育の国際化においては、本学部学生が海外で学習・活動する機会は充実している。しかし、留学生の通年教育への受け入れは困難な状況にある。本学部では、2016年度に試験的に短期留学受け入れプログラムを実施し、2017年度から韓国・中国・英国・米国から約20人の留学生を受け入れ、本学部からもほぼ同数の学生が参加してのプログラムとなった。2016年度17年度のプログラム学生からの評価は高く、本研究は、看護教育基礎における短期留学生受け入れ国際交流プログラムの効果について明らかにしていくことを目的にしている。
2017年度に国際交流プログラムの計画・立案に合わせて、参加大学（韓国：乙支大学、中国：復旦大学、英国：サフォーク大学、米国：ワシントン大学）の関係者と本研究について検討し、本研究を共同で進めていくことが提案され、本調査の準備として関係者へのインタビューや予備調査として研修後アンケートを実施した。
2018年度は本調査に向けて、予備調査の結果と国際交流や留学プログラムに関する先行研究のレビューに基づき、アンケート調査項目を決定し、プログラム参加学生の開始前と終了後の変化を測定する尺度として、一般自己効力感尺度（General Self-Efficacy Scale）を用いることにした。また、予備調査で参加学生の意欲は高くアンケートの自由記述欄に積極的に意見が記述されることが明らかになったので、本年度のアンケート調査においても自由記述欄を設け、それらも分析対象とすることにした。本学部研究倫理委員会の承認を受け、また、参加大学の責任者にアンケート調査票などの詳細を共有したうえで、本研究への同意を得た。
短期留学受入プログラム参加者42人に対して、2018年2月4日にプログラム前調査、2月8日にプログラム後調査を実施した。アンケート回収率は100％であったが、プログラム前後の一般自己効力感尺度を用いた評価に関しては回答なしが2名あった。アンケート結果の統計解析のための入力、自由記載欄のテキストデータ入力と内容に関してのコード化が終わり、今後、データを分析し論文にまとめ、国際誌への投稿を目指す。
In the global and international education of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care in Keio University opportunities for the students to study and practice abroad are enriched. However, it is difficult to accept foreign students for full-year education. Therefore, the faculty conducted a short-term international exchange program on a trial basis in fiscal 2016 and in fiscal 2017, the program has received approximately 20 foreign students from Korea, China, the United Kingdom, and the United States with the similar number of Keio nursing students.
In fiscal 2017, we discussed the plan of this study with the staff of participating universities (Korea: Eulji of University, China: Fudan University, UK: University of Suffolk, USA: University of Washington) during the preparation for the short-term international exchange program. It was suggested that we advanced the research with collaboration, then we conducted the post-program questionnaire and interviews and related investigation to the stakeholders.
In fiscal 2018, we decided the questionnaire survey items based on the results of the preliminary survey and the review of prior research on international exchange and study-abroad programs, and we selected "General Self-Efficacy Scale" as a scale to measure the change before and after the program participation student. In addition, the preliminary survey indicated that the participants' motivation was high and opinions were positively described in the free description column of the questionnaire, we also added a free description column in the questionnaire survey of this fiscal year. This research was approved by the research ethics committee of the faculty of nursing and medical care, and we agreed to this research with the supervisors of the participating universities for sharing the details such as questionnaires.
We conducted a pre-program survey on February 4, 2018 and a post-program survey on February 8 for 42 participants of the short-term exchange program. Although the questionnaire recovery rate was 100%, two participants were no responses for the evaluation using the general self-efficacy scale before and after the program. We completed the input the questionnaire results for statistical analysis. In addition, we finished coding about the text data input and contents of the free description column. We will analyze data, compile articles, and aim to a submit article to an international journal.
