これまで対象分類群について、日本産のサンプルも、日本産のサンプルと比較する北米東部産のサンプルも収集済みであり、遺伝子の解析も済んでおり、データは得られている。また、標本を整理するための標本ボックスの購入や、顕微鏡で形態観察をするための幾つかの機材や用具を整備することはできた。しかしながら、2018年度は、水害により予定通りの出張ができなかったほか、想定外の校務等に忙殺され、出張調査やアルバイト雇用には手が回らず、予定していた標本の精査がほとんどできなかった。そのため、標本の形態的解析も手つかずであり、国内の標本庫の訪問や標本閲覧もできなかった。未発表データを論文化することもできておらず、手もとの標本の整理と、データの整理、時間をとっての観察・解析が急務である。
So far, samples from both Japanese and Eastern North America have been collected and analyzed, and some data have been obtained. In addition, it was possible to purchase a sample box for organizing the samples and to prepare some equipment and tools for morphological observation with a microscope. However, in 2018, I was busy with unplanned work etc., and could hardly review the planned specimens. As a result, morphological analysis of specimens was also untouched, and it was not possible to visit or browse specimens in some herbaria in Japan. Unpublished data can not be made into a dissertation, so it is urgently necessary to organize samples at hand, organize data, and take time to observe and analyze.
