| Abstract |
結核は早急に制圧を要する再興感染症の一つであり, 新たな結核の治療法開発が必要とされている。新たな治療法を開発していく上で, 結核発症のメカニズムを解明することは重要である。結核菌感染マクロファージのネクローシスへの誘導を抑えることで結核菌感染拡大を防ぐことが出来ると考えられるため, 結核菌感染マクロファージのネクローシス誘導機序を研究した。
Tuberculosis (TB) is a re-emerging disease, which we have to control immediately and therefore the development of new therapies for TB is needed. To develop new therapies for TB it is important to understand the pathogenic mechanism of TB. I studied the induction of necrosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb)-infected macrophages because inhibition of necrosis induction of Mtb-infected macrophages can prevent the spread of Mtb infection.
