| Abstract |
本研究は, フランソワ・ラブレー作品における描写技巧と描かれたものの形象の分析を通して, 描写の同時代的な役割を探るものである。『ガルガンチュア・パンタグリュエル物語』全五作の描写表現を抽出し, 各作品が書かれた時代背景を検討しながら, 描写技巧と著者の意識の変遷を明らかにした。他方で, ラブレーの描写と当時の造形芸術作品(主に建築)との照応を行い, また日本におけるそれらの先行研究の調査を行った。
This research examines descriptive technique and representation in Rabelais' works for the purpose of analyzing the contemporary role of his description. We extracted descriptive parts from five works of Gargantua and Pantagruel chronicles in order to observe the evolution of his technique and his aim. Furthermore, we compared Rabelais' description with the figurative arts, in particular architecture, and investigated preceding studies in this field in our country.
