| Abstract |
加齢とともに毛髪が薄くなったり, 細くなるなどの悩みを抱える人が非常に多く存在する。そこで毛髪を維持・成長させる遺伝子を遺伝子改変マウス(ノックダウンマウス)を用いて探索する実験を行った。その結果, 数匹の遺伝子改変マウスを作製することには成功したが期待したような毛髪に変化のある表現型は観察されなかった。
Many people hold a trouble of hair becoming thin with aging. Then, the experiment which searches for the gene which maintains and grows up hair using a genetically engineered mouse (knockdown-mouse) was conducted. As a result, the expected phenotype which has change in hair was not observed, although it succeeded in producing a genetically engineered mouse.
