Abstract 
はじめにヒト胚性幹細胞(ES 細胞)由来運動神経細胞を用いた各種筋萎縮性側索硬化症(ALS)関連因子の導入実験系を確立した. 成人ヒト脊髄組織において, 仮説としていたLIN28の発現は認められなかったが, マグネトフェクション技術を応用した結果, ヒト運動神経細胞においてALS病態に関連の深いTDP-43の26k-Da C末アイソフォームおよび変異型TDP-43が直接的な細胞毒性作用を有することが証明された.
