Abstract 
幹細胞移植治療の効果を大動物で示すために、我々はまず手術後や多臓器不全のきっかけとなる全身の炎症状態であるSIRSをブタで再現し、その病的状態がブタの骨髄由来間葉系幹細胞を細胞移植することで、治療可能かどうかを検討した。提案通りブタに薬剤性の急性膵炎を起こし、全身状態を評価した後、ブタ骨髄由来の間葉系幹細胞を移植してその効果を検討したが、急性膵炎の状態が非常に不安定であったため結果の創出が困難だった。
