| Abstract |
本研究では、1919年の都市計画法制定以降、現在までに都市計画法制度によって生み出されてきた都市空間のうち、保全・継承すべきものを「都市計画遺産」という新たな概念で整理し、全国各地での事例調査と東日本大震災被災地である三陸沿岸都市での調査に基づき、その実態を把握した。加えて、イギリス、アメリカ、オーストラリアの都市計画学会による「都市計画遺産」関連の取り組みの整理、アメリカ、中国の都市計画史研究者を招聘してのセミナーを通じて、「都市計画遺産」をめぐる議論の国際的状況を把握した。
In this study, we established the new concept "planning heritages" for urban spaces which should be conserved and inherited as good achievements and future resources of Japanese. Intensive survey about "planning heritage" was carried on in some local cities including cities and towns in Sanriku region which were severely damaged by tsunami after the 3.11 East Japan Great Earthquake. In addition, current international discussions and projects about "planning heritages" became clear through our overseas researches in England, USA, Australia and our seminars with researchers from USA and China.
