Abstract 
大規模で高次元なデータからのモデル化を助けるための効果的なデータヴィジュアリゼーション環境の確立を目指して, Textile Plotを中心に研究を進めた. 具体的には, ゲノム解析, 金融データ解析, 海洋調査データの解析といった実際問題へ適用することによってその有効性を確かめるとともに問題点と改良点を明らかにする形で進めた. 結果として超高次元でも適用可能なアルゴリズムの開発に成功し, 数々の理論的な成果も得ることができた.
