Abstract |
本研究の目的は、舞踏の草創期である1960年代から発展期である1980年代までの日本の前衛演劇の上演を参照しつつ、舞踏の独自性を明確化し、歴史的および比較演劇的視点から、芸術様式としての舞踏に明確な定義を与えることにあった。それによって(1)中嶋夏、ビョップ山田、小林嵯峨、雪雄子、大野慶人、上杉満代という六人の関係者から貴重な一次証言を得ることができた。また、(2)土方巽振付の『マクベス』上演 (1972) の調査報告、安田雅弘との対談、『中国のシェイクスピア』の書評、国際学会において包括的なアンケート調査も行った。この間、8件の研究論文、5件の国内外学会発表、3件の共著書の刊行をおこなった。
The purpose of this research is to clarify the uniqueness of Butoh performance so as to find a clear definition for that avant-garde Japanese dance style with reference to the historical development of the Japanese contemporary theatres from 1960s to 1980s including Japanese Shakespearean productions. Through the research period from 2016 to 2018 valuable information about Hijikata Tatsumi have been collected with the interviews to six Butoh performers who have been deeply involved in the creation of Butoh such as Ohno Yoshito, Bishop Yamada, Nakajima Natsu, Kobayashi Saga, Yuki Yuko, and Uesugi Mitsuyo. Moreover, the research articles about the Macbeth choreographed by Hijikata Tatsumi, the challenge of Yasuda Masahiro and the development of modern Chinese Shakespearean productions have been published. In addition, the statistical approach for the Butoh images was conducted. 8 research articles, 5 presentations in academic conferences and 3 co-authored books have been published.
