Abstract 
会計はどうして (ときに些か薄弱な特長ながら) 客観性をもって特長の一つとされる取得原価に固執してきたのか。カスタムメードの会計情報の提供はどうしていまだ実現をみないのか。これが実現をみていれば，取得原価のみに拘ることもなかったのではないか。
カスタムメードの会計情報の提供はこれが行われれば，有用性，すなわち種々の利害関係者のそれぞれにとっての有用性だけを考慮すればよいはずだった。有用性をもって貫くことができるはずだった。
しかるに，カスタムメードの会計情報の提供は実現をみず，しからば，有用性をもって貫くことはできず，それぞれを相手とするのではなく，一般をもって相手とする会計において公正性はこれを捨てることができない。
あるいはまた，一般目的の会計にこそ，公正性を考慮しなければならない会計にこそ，存在意義があるのだろうか。
