Abstract 
本稿は, 財政学・財政社会学における国際比較の方法論的検討を行うことを目的としている。比較分析は社会科学で広く用いられる分析手法であるが, 財政学に限っていえば, 国際比較分析の意義や方法論が十分に検討されているとはいえない。そこで本稿では, 比較財政の学説史, 福祉国家論との関係性, そして財政社会学における比較分析と歴史分析の両立に伴う問題等の検討を通じ, 財政学・財政社会学における方法論的課題を検討した。
