| Abstract |
東アジアにおいては既に二国間・複数国間によるFTA網が相当程度構築されてきたが, 地域全体を包含する経済統合が如何に迅速に実現するかということは, 日本および韓国の通商政策の方向性にも大きく依存している。本稿では, ともに近年FTA交渉を積極的に推進している日韓両国のFTA戦略の相違を政治経済学的な観点から考察しつつ, 東アジア, あるいは環太平洋地域における経済統合の実現に向けた課題と展望を分析する。
In East Asia, although a bilateral and multilateral free trade agreement (FTA) network has already been formed to a certain degree, the speedy achievement of economic integration across the entire region significantly depends on the direction of trade policy in Japan and Korea.
This study considers the differences in FTA strategies between Japan and Korea, the two countries aggressively promoting FTA negotiations in recent years, from a political and economic perspective, while analyzing the challenges and perspectives of an economic integration in East Asia or the Pacific Rim.
