これまで, 東京の渋谷などの都市部と, 徳島県神山町などの中山間地を対象に, 地域における共有媒体としての地図のデザイン, 表現とその効果について研究を行ってきた。本年度は, 3年度の計画の最終年度として, これまでに確立した地図の作成手法を用い, 作成した地図の効果や, 地域の地図作成の過程への参加による効果を検証した。
品川区の高校, およびお台場でワークショップを実施した。ビデオ, 写真で参加者の反応を記録し, 終了後にインタビューを行った。地図の作成を通じて地域景観を再発見する契機となること, 地図は白紙に描くよりもあらかじめ要素を部材として用意することが参加者の作業を進めやすくすることがわかった。
徳島県神山町を対象に, 地理的条件の異なる三箇所の集落を選び, 集落ごと, また民家ごとに, ドローン撮影による空撮と地上の実測, 住民への聞き取り, 描画への参加を含めて, 生活環境・風景の地図化を行った。
また, これまでの研究で得た方法をもとに, GPSを利用した位置情報による「無意識の移動の地図」の可能性を検討した。石川研究会履修学生30名の日常の移動に伴う位置情報をGPS受信機およびスマートフォンの軌跡ログ記録アプリで収集し, 速度や日時を視覚的に反映した移動軌跡による絵画的地図を作成した。
これらの成果を成果報告書にまとめ, 2月に研究室の展示会として公に展示した。3月には徳島県, および神山町にて報告会を実施し, 次年度の研究継続と研究助成の承諾を得た。
We have been studying the design, expression and its effect as a shared media in the area for urban areas such as Shibuya in Tokyo and rural area such as Kamiyama cho in Tokushima Prefecture. This year, as the final year of the duration of this research grant, we verified the effect of the map we have made and the effect of participation in the map creation process, using the method established so far.
We held a workshop at Shinagawa Ward's high school and Odaiba. We recorded participants' responses by video and photograph, and interviewed after the end. It became an opportunity to rediscover the regional landscape through the creation of the map, it turned out that preparing the element as a member beforehand makes it easier for the participant to advance the work rather than drawing on the blank paper.
Three villages with different geographical conditions were selected for Kamiyama Town in Tokushima Prefecture, and for each settlement and each private house, including aerial photographs by drone shooting and actual measurement on the ground, listening to residents, participation in drawing , Map of living environment/landscape was done.
Also, based on the method obtained by previous research, we examined the possibility of "unconscious movement map" by GPS based position information. Ishikawa Study Group Students Thirty students who have taken the course have collected the position information associated with their daily movements using the GPS receiver and smartphone track log recording application, and created a pictorial map with a movement trajectory that visually reflects the speed and the date and time.
These results were summarized in a research report and exhibited publicly as a laboratory exhibition in February. In March, we held a briefing session in Tokushima Prefecture and Kamiyama Town, and got consent of research continuation and research grant for the next fiscal year.
